At the extraordinary General Meeting held on 29th September 2022 it was decided to close the Wigan branch of the BTF.

This follwed the demise of Bill Baxendale and subsequent Covid problems.
The sole remaining committee member (John Bradshaw) was unable to continue due to health issues,
No volunteers could be found to administrate the club and allow it to continue to exist.

This meeting was held on Thursday 29 September 2022.
