Rambles

We have decided not to organise a programme of Rambles this year due to the low number of participants during the 2017 season.

All newcomers, including non-railway friends, are always very welcome on our rambles. Bring packed lunches and drinks and wear suitable boots or shoes and clothing. The pace is always very gentle; we do not rush anywhere

**Please check train times against the current timetable before travelling** – click here to check your train times on the National Rail website or here for Transport Direct, where you will find all types of travel information, including trains, buses, trams and car routes.

Coffee mornings

Third Tuesday of each month at the Clock Tower Cafe, Katherine Street, Croydon (adjacent to Croydon Library) – no need to book, just turn up! You are also cordially invited to attend the Coffee Mornings organised by the London West Branch.

Lunch Group

Our Lunch Group, launched in 2008, has proved very popular. We normally meet several times a year at a different location. The meals are at a pub or inn within easy walking distance of a railway station. The venue is decided during the month prior to the meeting and those interested should contact Graham Harris on 07751 305514 or by email to osacroydon@hotmail.co.uk. If you have a favourite lunchtime venue that is easily accessible by rail and can accommodate a party of 20 to 30 people, please let Graham Harris know.

Members of other BTPF Branches are welcome at all Croydon & East Surrey social events, but numbers may be restricted where coach hire or other bookings have to be made.

All Croydon & East Surrey Branch walks are led by John Parkin unless otherwise advised – contact details in Newsletter – please check travel arrangements on National Rail’s website or on Transport Direct before you set off.
